Self-Healing Deployment Recovery

Engineers scramble to figure out which version was good, find the right commit, rebuild a release, and push it back out — under pressure, often at 2 a.m. The longer it takes, the longer customers feel it.
What I Invented
A system that detects a failed software package, automatically reaches into the release directory to pull the current version’s metadata, clones the application’s base repository, walks the version history backward to a known-good change set, reconstructs that as a new version on top, and pushes it back through the deployment API to take over from the broken one. Self-healing roll-forward.
Why it Matters to the Business
Mean time to recovery drops from “however fast a sleepy human can move” to near-instant. Fewer customer-facing outages. And — critically for a regulated bank — every step is logged, repeatable, and auditable, because the system is doing the same thing the same way every time.
